Pain on deep : Breaths is called pleurisy. Broad differential, but as a sign, not very specific. You need a chest x-ray, and if it does not show free air (pneumothorax) a prospect, might need more expensive work up. See a good generalist or lung doctor. Cancer is not high on my list, even if you smoke, if 37 is your age.
