Need more info.: Is she limping? Is there a history of trauma? Your daughter might need to be evaluated by a pediatric orthopedic doctor. It is important to check if she has shortening of the achilles tendon, if both lower extremities are of the same length, or if there is an abnormality of the hip joints.

Flat foot: Your daughter may have a flat foot which could cause heel pain. When the arch is decreased, this could cause knee and hip pain. Your daughter might need an orthotic in her shoes.

Have it evaluated: The pain could be as a result of many different things. The problem could be as a result of flat feet, abnormal limb length, or a variety of other musculoskeletal abnormalities. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
