A member asked:

My toe nails do not grow as fast these days. is there a cause for concern?

In itself, no: Like patterns and seasons in nature, there are patterns of growth that change with or skin and supportive structures such as hair and nail. Sometimes nails grow slower due to seasons, aging, illness and reflected in the slow growth of the nails. If there are changes in the appearance or texture in the nails, consult with your doctor.

No: Nails actually grow slower in the winter, so just cut the nails less frequently.
