Parasites?: Blood in the stool can be caused by infections of the gut or hemorrhoid ( bright red blood) or auto-immune diseases of gut ( crohn's disease etc). Taking into account--- itching in anal area--- treat yourself with anti- parasitic agent first; if symptoms persist, see md for further evaluation.

Hemorrhoids?: You may have hemorrhoids , but sice you are having bloody bowel movements, further follow up is necessary with either your doctor or a gastroenterologist.
