Can be: Most people have diarrhea after eating fatty foods once their gall bladder is removed. Some people will be constipated. It is simply how your body reacts to urn digested fat.

It is probably OK: Most people use narcotic pain pills after surgery which tend to give constipation. Just drink lots of water and use some milk of magnesia (magnesium hydroxide) ( table spoon once a day) for a day or 2 and it should improve.
