It takes time: The medicine you mentioned takes time to do its job. It is often taken all at one time (you should finish the last 2 tablets) and it stays in your system for a week or more to kill off the germs. The burning you feel often represents irritation from white cells that break down with the infection and these can persist for a while in treatment.It could also be something else, like yeast.
