Help her symptoms...: You can make sure that she has adequate amounts of fluid to drink, that the atmosphere in her room is adequately humidified and that her nose is kept clear--using saline nose drops and a bulb to remove mucus. Cough/cold medications are not recommended at your child's age.

Steam and suction: For a child with a viral illness, keep them well hydrated, suction the nose frequently, and use nasal saline to help get more mucous out. Sometimes sitting in steam in the bathroom with the faucets on high will help. A little Vicks on the chest may help with nighttime congestion. If symptoms worsen, call your doctor.

Sneezy: Use saline nose drops. The question is what is causing her to sneeze. She may have a cold or she may have an allergy. If she sleeps with stuffy animals the y may be responsible for her sneezing. Using a vaporizer may also be helpful.
