Thyroid and heart: Hyperthyroidism causes your heart to accelerate. In some, this is just a fast heart beat. In others, this can be svt, with very rapid heart rate. This can be dangerous. You need to see your doctor. You should probably be on a beta blocker, and your hyperthyroidism should be controlled with medications, and you need to discuss a permanent fix, such as radioactive iodine or surgery.
