How long does it take from the time you go in for a braces consultation, to actually getting braces on?

Depends on office: It could be very short or a month or two depending upon the office. I can only tell you my own experience. I usually do not take diagnostic records on the consult day, i let folks think about their options. A records appointment is then completed in a week or so, and then depending on my schedule i can place braces within a week or as much as 6 weeks depending upon the time of year.

Depends: It all depends upon when your orthodontist can make the time available for you to come in. There is no specific waiting period.
