About 30 minutes: Getting your braces off involves numerous steps. The first step - actually removing the brackets - is fast. A specialized plier will remove all of your braces one by one, but the total procedure only takes about 90 seconds! it is also relatively pain free. The next step, removing the glue, can take longer. It is either scraped off by hand, or removed with a drill. This can take 20 minutes.
