Stress cracks: Many people have minor cracks in teeth. These may be caused by clenching or grinding your teeth, traumatic injury, using your teeth as tools (opening bottles, etc, biting on pens, pencils, finger nails, hard candy, chewing on ice, etc, like the crack in a car's windshield, teeth cracks may stay the same for years and then one day , they may fully crack or chip.
