Depends: Knot is a pretty vague term, and the pelvic bones, by definition extend around the hips. So it's really hard to answer the question with a lot of accuracy. They could be caused infectious abscesses, cysts, fat deposits, lymph nodes, a baby... The possibilities are pretty broad without more information.
