Test your thyroid: Thyroid testing is used to determine if your thyroid is putting out the right amount of thyroid hormone, or if your treatment for too much or too little hormone is working correctly. There are other tests for other thyroid problems like thyroiditis, cancer, etc. But they are not routine.
