A member asked:

Can an injured rotator cuff cause neck and back/shoulder blade pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: Rotator cuff problems are usually felt in the shoulder area itself, but the neck and shoulder blade are nearby, and the brain may interpret the pain signals as involvement of those other areas of the body. Sometimes neck problems cause pain in the shoulder blade and shoulder areas. If it persists or is bad, see your primary doctor or a specialist.
