Absolutely: Children's prescriptions can continue to change into their early 20s. If the prescription is not treated when they are young, they may develop amblyopia - the inability to see well despite wearing the appropriate glasses. If your eye doctor prescribed glasses, then your child should be wearing them full-time while awake. Speak with your doctor about ways to help keep the glasses on.
