Possibly: Frequent contact with your eye increases the chance for infection, inflammation and foreign body contamination. Refrain from these behaviors.

Maybe: Any trauma to an already existing abnormality may worsen it. Easy to get treated with injections sclerotherapy or laser.

Hard to say: As drs. Spitz and sparacino said, contact could make it worse but i think you would have to do a lot of frequent rubbing to have any affect on it. On the other hand, I am concerned about your touching your eyes a lot. What makes you do that? Is a visit to the eye doctor is order?
