A member asked:

Is monster energy drinks bad? can they make you lose your hair?

Yes/No: There have been deaths associated with excessive consumption of energy drinks. I've never heard of them causing hair loss however. Certainly if you are drinking tons of monster and not eating enough healthy nutrients, that could cause hair loss. But that would be due to malnutrition rather than from the drink itself.

Yes, they can be bad: They have a lot of sugar and can cause blood sugars to go up as well as blood pressure. It also increases heart rate in some people. Many patients complain of heart palpitations and anxiousness from energy drinks.
