Latisse (bimatoprost): First consideration is do you have medical condition that is causing this such as hypothyroidism, or are you take medications which are causing a side effect. If there is no underlying cause pres ription Latisse (bimatoprost) can regrow thin eyelashes. Ssince it is prescription only you would be evaluated for the read on for the thinning eyelashes.

Eyelash loss: First you need to see a dermatologist to determine why you are losing eyelashes. Is it trauma from pulling, eyelash curling, heat, or chemical in nature, is it an autoimmune alopecia areata, is it hormonal such as thyroid? Then ask the dermatologist about the safety of using a prescription of Latisse (bimatoprost) to increase the hair cycle of the eyelash.

Medical eval first: See your doctor to try to find out why you're losing your eyelashes. Is it due to underlying skin disease such as eczema or seborrheic dermatitis, allergic reaction to cosmetics, traction alopecia from pulling on eyelashes either with eyelash curler or with fingers, underlying medical problem or nutritional deficiency, etc. If no medical cause can be found trying Latisse (bimatoprost) may help.
