What is retinoblastoma and how can it be treated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Retinoblastoma: It is a rare malignancy of the eye called the retina, caused by a mutation in a gene controlling cell division, generally affects children under age 6, most 1 to 2 years of age. Treatment depends on the size and location. Treatment may involve surgery +/- radiation +/- chemotherapy. Best to visit a specialized pendiatric cancer center. Best wishes to you.
