What are the symptoms of retinoblastoma?

Vision symptoms: There are many different symptoms, but most are changes in vision or eye function. A white pupil, redness of the eye, different directions of gaze. However, these are non-specific, and additional studies and tests have to be performed to make sure of the diagnosis before treatment begins.

Retinoblastoma: Retinoblastoma is a disease of infancy. The child will not/cannot report symptoms. The parent and pediatrician will watch for white pupillary reflex, eye deviation, eye redness, and will be especially alert if the family in question has a history of this inherited tumor.
