L small or R large: Likely mean left kidney now smaller: ?Following kidney infection followed by scarring & contraction, ?Renal artery stenosis, ?Embolus/clot obstructing main or branch renal artery, ?Artery or venous thrombosis, ?Kidney damage following surgery for stone. If right kidney larger: could be from obstruction or tumor.
