No: Hair loss is multi-factorial: genetics, stress, hormone problems, thyroid problems, mental illness, male pattern baldness, trauma, etc. The most common pattern that i see in my practice revolves around the genetic component. Teenage males can definitively have a receding hairline...Most likely due to genetics. Review by surgeons who offer hair transplantation is recommended. Multiple options.
