Depends: If it is due to the teeth slanting down on one side the answer is yes (with a good orthodontist). If it is due to the muscles and soft tissue slanting down on one side the answer is no.

They should: If you're referring to crowding and rotated teeth, then heading to an orthodontic specialist would be a great idea. They can explore the different possible solutions to your concerns including braces or other options.

Depends/yes: A crooked smile can have many different causes: teeth, skeletal presentation, soft tissue variation or pathology, etc. All of these can be addressed if the teeth are healthy enough, only the invasiveness of the procedures needs to be defined. Surgery may be indicated or not, but in either case orthodontics is integral in any comprehensive plan: mild to full rehabilitation.

Maybe: This depends on a lot of factors. I would discuss with an orthodontist who can see your teeth and make an assessment.
