Consult surg onc: The primary treatment for sarcoma in general is surgery. It is most important that you consult with a surgical oncologist specialized in sarcoma management. Radiation therapy is used as an adjuvant treatment. Radiation may be limited depending on location of current sarcoma and the prior field for management of hodgkin's lymphoma. Your surgical oncologist would consult with radiation oncologist.

In same area?: Depending upon how long after your lymphoma treatment, especially if you received radiation, that your sarcoma developed. Also, did your sarcoma develop in the same area that you had lymphoma and radiation? It could b a treatment related tumor. Sarcoma management revolves around defining what type, what size, and what location. The approach often centers around removal and radiation. Ctx rarely.
