Not really: If the quality of the work is important to you, i know of nothing common that can treat a malocclusion as effectively as orthodontic braces. As in much of life: "there is no free lunch" good luck!

No: Regular braces are the least costly alternative. Otherwise you can get invisalign or lingual braces but these typically cost more.

Not really: You can straighten teeth and jaws and thereby improve oral health, a lifetime benefit, or you can do restorative treatment. Restorative treatment (caps, fillings, veneers, etc.) is surgical treatment that requires periodic "redo." orthodontic treatment improves supporting tissue (bone, gums) health and makes restorative treatment easier and less expensive.

Maybe: Cheaper may not be better." professional fees are varied. You must feel confident with the treatment offered. Seek more than one opinion for a licensed orthodontic specialist to see what is best for you. The old adage, "you get what you pay for, " might be good advice to follow.

Not really: Metal braces are the cheepest and most effective treatment relative to clear braces or invisalign. You can however, shop around-- just keep in mind its not a commodity, i would compare only board certified orthodontists-- but you might find big variation in price even among this set of providers.
