Nerve entrapment?: Pain in a scar can be caused by a nerve getting trapped inside the scar tissue. This does not normally cause problems. Hernias can also form in scars, but a hernia from a gallbladder surgery scar would be extremely rare. You should mention your symptoms to your doctor at your next well visit and get it checked out.
