Fibromyalgia: Talk to however made the diagnosis. If you do not have faith in your doctor then get another opinion. There are many ways to treat fibromyalgia and you deserve to be treated well.

See you doctor: There are finally medications that have been shown to help relieve the symptoms-lyrica, cymbalta, and savella (milnacipran). In addition, regular aerobic exercise has been proven to help.

Seek consultants: 30's female diagnosed w. fibromygia (FM) & wants to know what to do. I suggest Rheumatologist for advice. Read books by survivors Ingebretson, Lumley, & Lewis. Obtain exam fr. Osteopath. Pursue Aquatherapy, gentle yoga, massage, Vitamin D, neutraceuticals, topical & ingested Cannabis, & mindfulness therapies. FM has multifactorial cause; treatment is multi-modal.
