Also are you talking about blood vessel on the outside of her eye or inside? Many diseases can cause blood vessel to break in the eye, but md is not one of them. If its on the white part of the eye, its usually not associated with any diseases, including md.

Could be many things: Broken blood vessels come from rubbing your eye-this occurs more frequently in the winter &in older patients. If there is easy bruising and bleeding on other parts of her body she needs to see her doctor to check her for a bleeding disorder.
