A member asked:

In my clinic only augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) 375, so if i want to give more dose , how much the maximum dose of calvulinic acid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate): This amoxicillin/clavulanate antibiotic combines a beta-lactam with a beta-lactamase blocker at a dose combination of 250 mg of the former and 125 mg of the latter. If you wish to give higher doses, double the number of pills. I am not aware that clavulanic acid is available as a single compound.
