Depends on the past: A cycle from dec. 1 to dec. 28 is a 27-day cycle, so a 2-day period there may be just a slight variation from normal. Slight variations happen to women sometimes, probably due to the day to day changes in female hormones throughout the cycle. If one has other symptoms or is worried about pregnancy, one can do a pregnancy test or see the doctor, especially if a normal period doesn't come next week.
