A member asked:

Is it normal to have spotting 3/4 days before period every month? can this prevent me to get pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No and yes: Early shedding of the uterine lining may mean an abnormal ovulation and cause infertility or early pregnancy loss (luteal phase defect). Infection or other cervical or uterine problems may also cause abnormal bleeding.
