Talk to doc.: Many different kinds of colitis. When antibiotics don't work its either that we have chosen the wrong antibiotic, the antibiotic is not getting to the bug, the bug is resistant to the antibiotic or the diagnosis is incorrect and you do not have a bug. Hard to tell which one. Maybe you were expecting results too soon? Talk to your doc.

See below: Have stool culture, c. Difficile toxin and ova and parasites checked. See a gastroenterologist and get a colonoscopy to determine what type of colitis you have so that it can be treated appropriately. Good luck and feel better.
