A member asked:

If a person has botox for hsp in the legs and then stop the shots what will the results be after that?

Probably nothing: Botox is not indicated for the treatment of henoch–schönlein purpura (unless you mean something else by hsp). If you're getting Botox in the legs for some other neurological disorder, stopping Botox injections would have no effect on HSP either.

Symptoms will return: If injections stop the effect would wear off after about 12 weeks and the symptoms (muscle tightness) would return.
