Not necessarily: It's lower than normal range, and should be rechecked in the next month, but if there are no symptoms likely not worrisome. Some medicines can affect, as well as other conditions, for some people this is normal.

No short answer: A low sodium has a cause, and there are potential risks that if not addressed in a timely manner, elevated aldosterone can develop, and Insulin resistance can be caused by the elevated aldosterone. Inappropriate ADH (vasopressin) can cause water retention and a false picture of sodium deficiency. Last example of my common list of potential causes, is adrenal fatigue or pituitary failure.
