Yes!: Chest pain after a car accident could represent skeletal injury (rib fractures, sternal fracture) or cardiac injury (blunt cardiac injury, myocardial ischemia). If you are having other symptoms, see your nearest emergency department. If this is isolated to just your chest and its reproducible with pushing on your sternum (i.e., breast bone), it's likely skeletal and can be managed with meds.
