Red bumps: Red bumps may be caused by the antibiotic you are taking for h pylori.

Maybe: Any medication can potentially cause an allergic reaction. Some medications are more likely than others. Generally an allergic reaction involving the mouth, tongue or throat will present with swelling and/or itching. On the far back of the tongue are papillae (taste buds) that can sometimes be mistaken as abnormal. A physician should be able to perform an exam and know the difference.
