Several things: Problems like these can only be correctly handled by your doctor in person. He/she needs to listen to you, perform an examination and possibly run labs or other tests. That's the only way he/she can find out what's going on and what to do about it.

Leg pain: You are very young, and swelling and pain in legs are not normal at your age. You need to see your physician for a work-up. Many questions need to be answered. If you are taking birth control pills you need to be careful for a condition called DVT which is very serious. If you are overweight and have swelling you may be hypertensive. The squishing you mention is retention of fluid. Go see your doc.
