Need more info: How long after the injection did the red ring appear? Is it warm to the touch or tender? Having the vitamins go into subcutaneous tissue or fatty tissue instead of the muscle is generally not a problem. It may just be skin irritation esp. If it happened soon after. Biggest concern is infection-uncommon but likely if warm/tender & did not happen right away. If it's an infection see a doctor soon.
