Re evaluate: Ms may be associated with depression one of the symptoms of which could be lack of concentration. Ritalin (methylphenidate) will not work for inattention if your it is caused by anything else other than adhd. Having said that, one day and a single dosage only on a medication is not a good enough way to determine the effectiveness of a medication.

May need adjustment: If you have fatigue related to your MS, ritalin (methylphenidate) is an appropriate choice, but initial dose may be too low, and can be modified. Other choices to help include Adderall, modafanil, Nuvigil, amantadine, even Cylert. You do not list your meds, but if you are taking an interferon, this class can cause fatigue.
