May be normal: I assume your baby is a newborn or very young infant. Many a newborn especially breast fed would show this pattern for some time in earlier days of their life. As long as the baby is feeding well, growing normally, the physical exam and inspection of the stool by his/her pediatrician is normal, and especially if you are nursing you may not have any thing to worry about.
