Should be OK: But to be on a cautious side, you still need to be sure that in the place, where you are going there is a hospital performing deliveries with the obstetrician on call. You never know in the last trimester what can trigger preterm labor.

Maybe: Everything has a risk and a benefit. You are taking a risk going in a car, but it is good that you are not driving. If you must go, plan ahead for contingencies -- what if you get in an accident? What if you go into labor? Make sure you stay within cell phone reach. Of course it is safer if you stay put, but you may not have that option.
