Any Bacteria: Any bacteria can enter a urethra from contaminated water. It’s more likely in females due to the short female urethra. Shistosomasis is a parasitic disease caused by several species of trematodes (worms) that can enter the skin at any point in contact with contaminated water. Vandellia Cirrhosa ?: Unsure. Are you referring to Vandellia Cirrhosa (“candiru)? That is actually not a bacteria, it is a member of the catfish family. I don't believe that this has been fully substantiated.
