Urethritis: If your urine has been checked and is negative for urinary tract infection the other thing that it may be his urethritis which is inflammation of the urethra. It may or may not be associated with an infection. Treatment is supportive your physician can give you a medication that numbs the urethra and causes relief of pain - pyridium (phenazopyridine).
