Can you still wear contact lenses comfortably if you have glaucoma?

Mostly: Depends on type of glaucoma and whether you had glaucoma surgery. Asking your eye doctor who knows you would be best to answer your questions.

Yes: Contact lens wear should not be impacted by your using drops to treat your glaucoma. Make sure you use your drops at least 5 minutes before inserting your lenses.

Contacts and glaucom: Yes. You can wear contacts and take glaucoma medications. However, medications on the eyes for glaucoma can irritate the surface of the eyes over a period of time. This can make contact lens wear more challenging.
