Low metabolism: If you have higher percentage of fat and less lean body mass, you tend to have lower metabolism. Body can not burn off calories then and due to that if you eat even slight more calories, you start gaining weight. Also, skipping meals (eating once or twice a day) can also lower your metabolism.
