I am 70 and have been having trouble finding words to express myself. frustrating , as is memory loss of people's names in my club. embarrassing !

Hope this helps: As we age, many of functions slow down, and not unique to encounter your symptoms. Perhaps after a while, you finally recall the names, this is part of normal aging, but if this is getting worse, you may be developing a degenerative change, and this does need evaluation, as we do have "memory enhancing agents." since seems to trouble you, see your doc.

You need examination: Trouble speaking may mean beginning of some form of dementia and you need an examination by a neurologist.
