Can't sleep: Google the words "sleep hygiene" to get useful techniques to help u sleep, at least until u see your therapist.

Sleep: If you are actually hurting yourself, it could be some illusion, you seem to be getting nightmares, please rule out rbd or slow wave sleep disorders, sleep study may be needed.
