Xyphoid process?: I wonder if you are feeling the tip of your sternum (breastbone). It actually consists of three parts - and the lowest part (the xyphoid process) is a triangular shaped bone that feels quite firm and may be where you describe. Needless to say, ask your doctor if you are concerned. But why not google up "xyphoid process" and see if a picture matches your description. Good luck. Lgromkomd.
