Sebaceous cyst: A sebaceous cyst is a swelling from a swollen sebaceous gland or oil gand in your skin. They are common and usually need to be removed surgically (an office procedure). Other possibilitis include a dermatofibroma or lipoma. A metastatic tumor could be possible, but usually not tender.
