For one week i have had a headache, fatigue, hoarseness and itchy throat. i've taken advil (ibuprofen) and rested but no improvement. what could this be.

See below: Any fever/chills? Muscle aches? Sinus pain/ pressure? Post-nasal drainage? Cough? Ear pain? What part of head aches? Might be upper respiratory infection (usually viral, but possible bacterial), influenza (if body aches). Theraflu or advil (ibuprofen) cold & sinus may give better relief. Drink plenty of fluids. Gargle with warm salt water. See doc if no improvement in couple days.
